AFCAT 1 2021 Exam Notification
AFCAT 1 2021 Notification: Important Exam Notice for all defence aspirants who want to be recruited as Commissioned Officers for Flying and Ground Duty in Indian Air Force. Applications for AFCAT 1 2021 have started from 1 December 2020 and for this, you only have time till 30 December 2020.
The Indian Air Force has recently, on its official website, issued a notification regarding Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT 1 2021). The Indian Air Force appointed successful candidates as commissioned officers in Flying and Ground Duty (technical and non-technical) branches of Indian Air Force branches. In this blog, we will discuss details about AFCAT 2021.
AFCAT 2021 Application Form
Eligible and interested candidates can fill the online application form and enroll for the Air Force Common Admission Test 2021. The online application window will be active from 1 December 2020 to 30 December 2020.
The application fee is Rs 250 for all the candidates of all categories. Candidates have to deposit the application fee by online mode debit card, credit card, net banking, etc.
AFCAT 1 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Flying branch: 20 to 24 years of age as of 1 January 2022.
Ground duty branches: 20 to 26 years of age as of 1 January 2022.
Flying branch: The candidate should have graduated with a BE / BTech degree from a recognized university with an overall percentage of 60%. Candidates should have 10 + 2 degrees with Physics and Mathematics subjects.
Technical Branch: The candidate should have done a four-year undergraduate course in engineering/technology. The candidate should have 60% of the marks obtained in section A and B examination of Aeronautical Society India or associate membership of Institute Engineers.

AFCAT 1 2021 Exam Pattern
- The candidates have to complete the exam in online mode.
- There will be a total of 100 questions.
- Total allocated marks 300
- Time duration of the exam will be 45 minutes.
- The aspirants will be rewarded 3 marks for every correct answer and will be deducted 1 mark for every wrong answer.
There will be three sections in the exam and these will be General Awareness, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude and Verbal Ability in English.Course Commencement - January 2022
